St James School is a beautiful grade II listed building boasting luscious grounds and a picturesque lake, an on-site chapel for religious ceremonies and three rooms licenced for civil ceremonies.
Make the most of this gorgeous location with a wedding reception in a marquee or tipi, the large grounds offer a stunning backdrop with views of the school building to one side and the lake to the other.
There is a list of tried and trusted suppliers from marquees to photographers, caterers to florists and musicians which can be provided to suit your wedding theme and budget.
If you would prefer to stay inside the school, the light and spacious dining hall can accommodate up to 150 guests for a delicious wedding breakfast created by our wonderful onsite catering team. With space for a large dance floor and leading out to a secluded patio area. The dining hall can be decorated as you wish for your special day.
Built in 1857 to be used as a school, over the years additional buildings have enhanced the site and its story. Historic buildings remain and are still used by the school today. St James combines its traditional features with new modern style making it both beautiful and practical.
